Donald Ennis

Donald Ennis, 70, of Bethalto, passed away on Monday, July 20, 2026, at his residence.

He was born on April 7, 1959, in Jerseyville, the son of Herbert H. and AnnaLee (Malone) Ennis.

Donald worked as a mechanic for many years, and also was also employed in the scrap metal business.

He enjoyed riding motorcycles, cars, and sipping on a cold can of Busch. More than anything, Donald enjoyed playing uno and spending time with his grandkids, especially his granddaughter, Haley.

Surviving are his children, Jason (Misty) Grether and Donald Ennis Jr., along this two sisters and four brothers; Cheryl Ennis, Paula Beasley, Charlie Beasley, Allen Beasley, Herbert Ennis, and Curtis Ennis. Grandchilren Haley, Dillion, Ryan, Triston, Dominic, Isaac, Levi and Chloe also survive with great-grandchildren; Greyson, Nova, Aiden, Braxton, Camden, and, due in August, Paisley.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.

Memorials are suggested to the funeral home to help with final expenses.
