
Donna M. Pennington, 79, of Greenfield, passed away Wednesday, December 10, at her home. She was born October 25, 1946, in Carrollton to Donald and Hazel (Reynolds) Thomasson. She married Gene Pennington June 9, 2005, in Greenfield, and he preceded her in death, April 27, 2023.
Surviving is her daughter, Dana (Craig) Plummer, her son, Dale (Candace) Woolsey, her grandchildren, Joshua (Ashley) Huber, Calab (Cassidy) Huber, Elijah Woolsey and James Woolsey, her great-grandchildren, Skyla, Elsie, Roman, and Alayna, her step grandchildren, Shayna Sullivan and Amanda Robinson, her step great-grandchildren, Hannah, Peyton, Shyanne, Collin, and Lily, her sisters, Marilyn Woolsey, Connie (Roger) Cooper, Judy (Mike) Richie, her step-daughters, Kay (Gary) Pence, and Suzy (Jim) Dalton, and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, and her step-children, Tammy Pennington and Tim Pennington.
Donna loved to cook and cooked for Sinclair’s, Principia College, but her favorite was cooking on the barge. She enjoyed crocheting, and going to yard sales. She loved her family and spending time with them.
Cremation rites will be accorded, and a memorial service will be held Saturday, December 20 at 10:30 am at Shields-Bishop Funeral Home in Greenfield. Inurnment will follow the service at Mt.
