Doris Richards

Doris I. Richards, 85, passed peacefully at Jerseyville Manor on July 18, 2018, with family close by.

She was born on February 3, 1933 in Wardell, MO to Watt and Reggie Wilburn.

She retired from the Roxana School District, where she served as a bus driver for 20 years.

Surviving are siblings, Dorothy and Norman; sons, Thomas (Renee) Pelot, Glenn Barnes; five grandchildren; and three great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, William "Bob" Richards; brother, Billy Wilburn; and son, Michael Pelot.

In accordance with her wishes, cremation services were accorded.

A private memorial service will be held at a date to be determined.

Memorials may be made to a charity of one's choice.

Marks Mortuary in Wood River was in charge of arrangements.
