Edward Northcutt

Edward “Ed” Lee Northcutt, 55, of Godfrey, Illinois, passed away on May 6, 2025.

Born on September 4, 1969, in Alton, Illinois, Ed worked for many years as a union laborer with Laborers’ Local 110. He had a lifelong appreciation for classic American muscle cars and the music of Elvis Presley.

He is survived by his wife, Theresa Northcutt; his daughter, Catherine Northcutt of Godfrey, IL; and his son, Edward (Emily) Northcutt of Charleston, IL. He is also survived by his sister, Michelle Pritchard of Lebanon, MO; his stepsister, Jessica Northcutt of Jerseyville; and his nieces.

He was preceded in death by his sister, Ellen “Nikki” Northcutt; his niece, Brandy Pritchard; and his grandparents, Virginia and Orville Mize.

A private remembrance will be held by the family. In lieu of flowers, those wishing to honor Ed’s memory are invited to reflect in their own way or contribute to a cause meaningful to them.
