EDWARD VICTOR “”PECK”” SEIBERT, JR., age 79, of Godfrey, Illinois died on Friday, April 14, 2017 at his residence.
Born January 23, 1938 in Alton, he was the son of the late Edward Victor and Katheryn (nee: Mahoney) Seibert, Sr. He married the former Carol Wilkinson and she preceded him in death on July 1, 2006 and later married Mary (nee: Jun) Keshner on June 5, 2007 and she survives. He worked many years at the former Noll’s Ice Cream and Bakery, and Colonial Bakery in Alton. He attended the American Institute of Baking in Chicago, IL. He was the founder of the Service Warehouse Company and Cross Country Sales Company in Indianapolis, Indiana before retiring. He was also a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Alton. In addition to his wife Mary, he is also survived bya daughter Julia M. Seibert of Tuscaloosa, Alabama1 granddaughter : Chelsea Seibert of Richmond, Virginia6 step-children and spouses: Joseph and Tracy Keshner of Manhattan, New YorkMaria and Steve Roach of Godfrey,Charles Keshner of East Alton, IllinoisMichael and Stacey Keshner of GodfreyAnne and Geoff Thorsen of Montrose, ColoradoMargaret Keshner of Alton, and 7 step grand-children.A sister and brother-in-law: Judy and Neil DeVries of Heartland, WisconsinOther extended family and many friends. There will be no visitation. Friends are invited to join the family for a Mass of Christian Burial on Tuesday, April 18, 2017, 10:00 a.m. at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Alton. Private Interment will be held.
