Eric Drew

Eric D. Drew, age 40, of South Roxana, Illinois, passed away peacefully at home on August 17, 2026.

Eric was a genuine and heartfelt person whose quick wit and infectious laughter could brighten any room. He had a way of making people feel comfortable and welcomed, and his presence will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing and loving him.

Eric proudly served in the United States Air Force and later worked as a dispatcher for Ingram Barge Company. Outside of work, Eric enjoyed going to concerts, playing Dungeons & Dragons, spending time with his close friends, and, most importantly, being surrounded by his family.

He is survived by his mother, Colleen Drew; brother, Tony (Theresa) Drew; sister, Christina Drew; and brother, Derek (Amber) Drew.

Eric was a beloved uncle to Mark Drew, Christian Drew, Carlee Drew, Lyric McGee, Brayden Drew, Senica McGee, Matthew McGee, and Juliana Drew.

He was preceded in death by his father, Dennis Drew and cherished companions Monster and Armondo.

Eric leaves behind a lifetime of memories, laughter, stories, and moments that will be treasured forever. His kindness, humor, and unmistakable laughter will live on in the hearts of his family and friends. Though he is gone far too soon, the love he gave and the memories he created will never be forgotten.
