Eva Margaret (DeVerger) Tucker, 96, went into the Lord's waiting arms on Nov. 19, 2014, just a month shy of her 97th birthday, at the Sharmar Village Care Center in Pueblo, Colorado.She was born in Greene County, IL on Dec. 23, 1917, and was the daughter of the late Howard & Daisy (Gray) DeVerger.She grew up in Jersey County, and spent the majority of her time there in Fieldon before moving to Hardin in 1993.  She has resided in beautiful Colorado for the past 14 years.She married Charles L. "Teed" Tucker on Feb. 3, 1934 at the First Presbyterian Church parsonage in Jerseyville, and together they shared 40 years before his death on March 9, 1974.Surviving are a daughter & son in law, Susan & Eddie Greenhood of Pueblo West, Co.; a son in law, Gerald Seehausen of Fieldon; her grandchildren and their spouses, Angela Skull, Aaron & Chantelle Skull, Kim & Joe Gerson; step grandchildren & their spouses, Jenette & John Hobby, Kristy & Kevin Renzelman; great grandchildren, Aadon, Isaiah and Kainin Skull, Andrew & Amy Woelfel, Kayla & Kyle Hill, and Katie Woelfel; step great grandchildren and their spouses, Johnny & Morgan Hobby and Leighann Hobby, and Wyatt Renzelman; great great grandchildren, Jacob, Caleb and Zachary Woelfel and Audrey Hill; a brother & sister in law, Judson & Nellie DeVerger of Fieldon; a sister in law, Dorothy DeVerger; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.In addition to her parents & husband, she was preceded in death by a son, Daniel Lee Tucker who passed away at the age of 19 in 1969; a daughter, MaryBelle Seehausen; a grandson, Christoper Seehausen; two brothers, Claude DeVerger who died in combat during World War II and Howard DeVerger Jr..Visitation will be from 10 a.m, Tuesday until time of funeral services at 12 noon at the Crawford Funeral Home in Jerseyville.Burial will be in the Vahalla Memorial Park in Godfrey.Memorials may be given to the Shriners Hospital or to the Baptist Childrens Home in Carmi, Il.
