Everett Jackson

Everett Wayne Jackson, 65, formerly of Wood River, passed away April 24, 2018.

Born in Granite City on November 15, 1952, he was the son of Merrill and Ruth (Copenhaver) Jackson.

A graduate of Roxana High School, he had worked for Fischer Lumber, Chemetco Chemical, and owned Jackson Tree Service

Wayne is survived by his wife, Theresa; children, Jody Ikerman, Michael (Tracy) Jackson, Paul Jackson. Joseph (Kathy) Jackson, Christi Jackson; step-children, Jessie Whitehead, Bryan Whitehead, Bryan Jackson; grandchildren, Rachael Jackson, John Jackson, Aiden Kendall, Bennett Jackson; and brother, Rev. Lee (Georgia) Jackson of Wood River.

His parents; sister, Pat Mason; and a brother, Gene Jackson preceded in death.

No services have been scheduled.

Marks Mortuary in Wood River is in charge of local arrangements.
