Gale E. (Walther) Hollowell, 68, formerly of Alton and Chicago, IL, died Tuesday, June 16, 2015 surrounded by her loving family in Kenosha, WI. Gale was born on October 21, 1946, a daughter born to the late Herman and Eylene Walther. Surviving are two sons and daughters-in-law, Danny & Deb Hollowell of Mt. Pleasant, WI and Kevin & Jennifer Hollowell of Justice; a daughter, Crystal Kovaka of Alsip; four grandchildren, Emily, Brian, Gabby and Sophia; a sister, Joan Lynn of Alton;two nephews, Robert and Wayne Ellis; and a niece Sandra Woods.Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until time of services at 11 a.m., Saturday, June 20, 2015 at the Crawford Funeral Home in Jerseyville. Burial will take place at the Oak Grove Cemetery in Jerseyville.
