Geraldine Whittier

Geraldine Whittier, nee Schwahn, 91, of Belleville, IL, born Monday, November 26, 1934, in Belleville, IL, passed away Sunday, January 18, 2026, at Memorial Hospital in Belleville, IL.

Geraldine worked as a Laundry Attendant for St. Elizabeth’s Hospital. She was a member of Westview Baptist Church in Swansea IL, where she volunteered in the Church Nursery Department.

Visitation: Visitation from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. on Thursday January 22, 2026 at Westview Baptist Church in Swansea, IL.

Services: Funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday January 22, 2026 at Westview Baptist Church with Pastor David Ratliff officiating. Private Interment at Valhalla Gardens of Memory in Belleville.
