Gloria Ray

Gloria Cynthia Ray, 67, passed away Sunday, March 22, 2026 at her daughter’s home.

Born Oct. 17, 1958 in Granite City, she was a daughter of Willie and Cecelia (Parker) Johnson.

She married Clark S. Ray June 12, 1976.  He preceded her in death June 3, 2025.

Cindy worked as a regional manager for Dollar Tree until her retirement in 2009.  She loved to travel and enjoyed spending time with her family, friends, and her pets.

Surviving are a daughter and son-in-law, Tiffany Ray and Shaun Lawrence of Wood River and a sister and brother-in-law, Judy and Alan Searle of Arizona.

She will be laid to rest with her husband at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery at a later date.
