Harold F. Etzkorn Jr., age 85, of Piasa, passed away Tuesday, March 29, 2016, at OSF St. Anthony’s Health Care in Alton.He was born September 8, 1930 in St. Clair County, the son of Harold F. and Hazel L. (Ungard) Etzkorn Sr. He married Patricia Steward on January 10, 1951 in Washington Park, IL, and she survives.Harold retired in 1992 from Illinois American Water Co.. He was employed there for 43 years.In addition to his wife, Patricia; he is survived by three daughters and their husbands, Catherine and Thomas Fea of Granite City, Beverly and Val Sumonia of Godfrey, and Patti and Bruce Evans of Granite City; a sister, Betty Louise Brown of Maryville; seven grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.He will be cremated with no services as he wanted.Elias, Kallal and Schaaf Funeral Home in Godfrey is in charge of arrangements.On-line condolences and guestbook may be found at www.eliaskallalandschaaf.com or www.facebook.com/eliaskallalandschaaf.
