Helen Cook

Helen M. Cook, age 85, of Middletown, Ohio, died at 1:10 p.m. Friday, January 13, 2017, at University Nursing & Rehab in Edwardsville, Illinois. Helen was a retired administrative assistant working for Rogers Jewelry in Middletown. She was born January 27, 1931 in Middletown the daughter of the late Daris & Bessie (Wallace) Helfin. She married Harold J. Cook on July 30, 1947, at Middletown. He preceded her in August 6, 1982. Helen is survived by 1 son, David J. Cook & wife Bonnie of Glen Carbon, Illinois; 2 granddaughters, Sarah Lee & husband Zach of Glen Carbon and Brittany Cook of Glen Carbon; 4 great granddaughters, Shelby Lee, Maggie Lee, Jazmin Cook, and Myah Cook. She was preceded in death by a sister, Ethelene Waldner ; a niece, Valerie Veneman; and a nephew, Michael Waldner. There is no visitation or service. A private entombment will be held at Woodside Mausoleum in Middletown.
