Helen Miles

Helen Marie Miles, 76 of Brighton, died at 12:45 P.M. on Tuesday, December 12, 2017 at Robings Manor Nursing Home.

She was born to the late Vernon Jenkins and Emma K. Shallenburg on July 3, 1941 in Alton, Illinois.

Helen married Harry James Miles on June 27, 1974 in Edwardsville, Illinois.  He survives and resides in Brighton.

Besides her husband, survivors include 3 daughters; Cindy, Katherine, Ann (Steve) and Cherie, 4 sons; Charles, Terry, Gary and Phillip.

Besides her parents, Helen was preceded in death by 1 son; James Miles

A small visitation will take place from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM on Saturday, December 16, 2017 at Targhetta & Wooldridge Funeral Home in Brighton.

Burial will be at the Brighton Cemetery.
