Henry Beykirch

Henry P. Beykirch, III, 74, of O’Fallon, IL, born December 18, 1951, in East St. Louis, IL, passed away, Tuesday, March 17, 2026, at St. Elizabeth’s Hospital, O’Fallon, IL, surrounded by family.

Henry was an avid sports fan and enjoyed cheering for the St. Louis Cardinals and St. Louis Blues and rarely missed watching a NASCAR race. In his free time, he enjoyed woodworking, tinkering with cars, working in his yard and any time spent with family and good friends. He never met a stranger and truly loved living life to the fullest. He was a devoted husband, father, grandpa, brother, and friend. Above all, he adored being “Papa” to his grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his loving wife of 41 years, Pam S. Beykirch, nee Bryant, whom he married on December 9, 1977, and who died on June 7, 2019; his parents, Henry II and Betty, nee Reinhardt, Beykirch; his father-in-law, Theodore Bryant; his mother-in-law, Myra, nee Rosener, Ogden; and two brothers-in-law, John Vassallo and Tom Steimel.

Surviving are his four children, Leslie (Jerry Shubirg) Beykirch, Catie (Chris) Hurst, Henry P. Beykirch IV, and Bryant (Kendra) Beykirch; five grandchildren, Mason Shubirg, Tristen Beykirch, Colton Beykirch, Hailey Beykirch, and Madelyn Hurst; a sister, Mary Fran (Jim) Ferdinandt; a brother, Chris (Terri) Beykirch; four sisters-in-law, Carol Vassallo, Kathy Steimel, Brenda (Rowdy) Fadler, and Stephanie (Mark) Boyer; and numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital or the American Heart Association. Condolences may be expressed to the family online at www.rennerfh.com.

Visitation: Friends may visit from 9 to 11 a.m. Saturday, March 28, 2026, at George Renner & Sons Funeral Home, Belleville, IL.

Funeral: Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, March 28, 2026, at George Renner & Sons Funeral Home, Belleville, IL, with Fr. Nicholas Junker officiating.

Burial will be at Mount Carmel Catholic Cemetery, Belleville, IL.
