Jacqueline Fitton

Jacqueline Kay Fitton, 79, passed away 2:34 a.m. Thursday, June 15, 2017 at St. Joseph hospital in Highland.

Born in Peoria on April 2, 1938, she was the daughter of Jerald and Regina (Harmison) Mooney.

She had been a self-employed accountant for 25 years before retiring.

She married Gerald A. Fitton on April 25, 1969 in Peoria.  He died March 8, 1992.

Surviving are a sons, Steven Fitton of Savannah, Georgia; daughter, Stephanie Robinson of East Alton; two grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren; two brothers, William Wingfield and James Wingfield; two sisters, Mary Jo Boughan and Cynthia Wingfield.

In accordance with her wishes, cremation services will be accorded.

Marks Mortuary in Wood River in charge of arrangements.
