James Blackwell

James W. Blackwell, 68, of Bunker Hill, IL passed away Mon. Mar. 23, 2026 at Anderson Hospital in Maryville, IL.

He was born Oct. 17, 1957, a son of the late L.A. and Sharon Lee (Prasse) Blackwell.

Jim was a U.S. Navy veteran and loved to fish and play video games.

He is survived by a sister, Donna Dubray, and 2 brothers, David Blackwell and William Blackwell.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Cindy Briggs.
