James McCloud

James Lawrence McCloud, 50, passed away 11:40 a.m. Saturday, October 31, 2015 at Alton Memorial Hospital.

Born in Alton on January 26, 1965, he was the son of J.L. and Vivian (Lawrence) McCloud.

Surviving are two brothers, Arthur Moore and Larry Moore both of East Alton; a sister, Paula Davis of Nevada; two half-sisters, Alice (Todd) Northway of Wood River, Vicki Davis of Alton; niece, Erica (Kevan) Vandiver; nephew, Derek Northway; great niece, Paige Vandiver; three great nephews, Blake and Dylan Vandiver, Truman Northway; and a close friend, Diana Esunis.

Preceding him in death were his parents; maternal grandmother, Irene Lawrence; two half-brothers, Bill Farmer and Hughie Williams; and a sister, Connie McCloud.

A Celebration of Life Memorial Service will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday at Marks Mortuary in Wood River.  Rev. Bill Pyatt will officiate.

Memorials may be made to the 1st United Methodist Church in East Alton or American Heart Association.
