Janet Chappell

Janet “Jan” Marie Chappell, nee Webber, 86, of Belleville, IL, born Saturday, June 18, 1938, in East St. Louis, IL, passed away Wednesday, December 11, 2024 in Edwardsville, IL.

Janet “Jan” worked as a Registered Nurse for Memorial Hospital. She was a long-time member of Memorial Hospital Auxiliary, P.S.O.P., and the Metro East Community Chorale. She enjoyed volunteering at the St. Louis Fox Theatre and was an avid Pinochle player.

She was preceded in death by her:

Visitation: Visitation from 9-11 a.m., Monday, December 16, 2024, at Blessed Sacrament Church in Belleville, IL.

Funeral: Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11 a.m., Monday, December 16, 2024, at Blessed Sacrament Church in Belleville, IL, with Rev. Kenneth York officiating. Interment will follow at Mount Carmel Cemetery, Belleville, IL.
