Janet Enoch

Janet Ambrose Caselton Enoch, 72, died at 2:29 a.m. Monday, May 18, 2026 at Hillsboro Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center.

Born October 17, 1953 in Jerseyville, she was the daughter of Paul and Dorothy (Sancamper) Ambrose. Janet was an executive secretary for Prudential Insurance Company and retired as an administrative assistant for SIUE.

On May 16, 2003 she married Paul E. Enoch in Edwardsville. He survives. 

Also surviving are two daughters, Marci Gietl of Houston, TX and Michelle Bodkin of Houston, TX and sister, Tammie Mattux of Rolla, MO. 

Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Paulette Bosaw.

Visitation will be from 1:00 p.m. until time of memorial service at 2:30 p.m. Saturday, May 30, 2026 at Gent Funeral Home in Alton. Father Steve Janoski will officiate.
