Janet Roos

Janet R. Roos, 71, of Godfrey, passed away on November 24, 2023, at home.  

She was born on November 27, 1951, the daughter of the late Bert Jr. and Wilma (Barnard) Chapee at Alton. 

Janet worked as a Medical Technician for Carrollton Hospital, St. Joseph's Hospital, SmithKline, and Quest Diagnostics.

She married Maurice "Denny" Roos on September 22, 1972, in Alton.  He survives. 

She loved riding their Harley Davidson with her husband and was a car enthusiast.

In addition to her husband, Denny, she is also survived by, two sisters and a brother-in-law, Linda &
David Tapen of Arnold, MO, and Valarie Gilligan of Springfield, IL.

Cremation rites will be accorded. Elias, Kallal and Schaaf Funeral Home in Godfrey is entrusted with professional services. 

Memorials are suggested to the American Cancer Society or St. Jude Hospital for Children.
