Janice Belangee

Janice K. Belangee 73, of Bethalto, IL passed away at 5:25 p.m.Wednesday, September 14, 2016 at Alton Memorial Hospital in Alton, IL.  

Born March 16, 1943 in Eldorado, IL she was the daughter of James & Della (Gibson) Beasley

She married George W. Belangee and enjoyed 50 years of marriage before he preceded her in death June 19, 2012.

She worked in collections for many years and later retired from R.F. Technologies in Bethalto.

Janice’s family always came first in her life.  She is survived by a son, James C. (Lee Ann) Belangee of Bethalto; two grandchildren, Jessica and Megan; sister: Ramona (Marvin) Bonner of Dorsey, IL; sister-in-law: Linda (Joe) Anderson of Dorsey, IL; and many much loved nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, a son, Michael Belangee and a sister, Joyce Peterson.

Visitation will be 11 a.m. Monday, September 19, 2016 at Paynic Home for Funerals in Rosewood Heights until time of services at 1 p.m. 

Burial will follow at Woodland Hill Cemetery in East Alton. 

Memorials can be made to the American Lung Association.
