Jean Muntan

Jean Marie Muntan, nee Anderson, 77, of Belleville, IL, born Monday, April 12, 1948, in Milo, ME, passed away Wednesday, February 11, 2026 at Memorial Hospital in Belleville, IL.

Jean was a retired Nurse for Southern Illinois Healthcare Association at Touchette Hospital, specializing in infection disease. She was a member of St. Henry Catholic Church Belleville IL. She was a Lector and Eucharist Minister at Shrine of Our Lady of the Snows. She loved her fur babies, gardening and spending time with her family.

She was preceded in death by her:

Services: Mass of Christian burial will be held at 11:00 a.m., Monday, February 16, 2026 at St. Henry Catholic Church, with Rev. Kenneth York officiating. Private family interment.
