Jeffrey Piening

Jeffrey Eugene Piening, 36, passed away unexpectedly at 7:55 pm Wednesday, October 24, 2012 at his home.   

He was born on September 19, 1976 in Alton, IL, the son of William “Bill” and Sandra (Davis) Piening.

Jeffrey attended Civic Memorial High School in Bethalto and he was employed by the Labor Hall #338.  He enjoyed golfing, bonfires, hunting, fishing with Dalton and Trenton and camping.

In addition to his father of Bethalto and his mother of Alton, he is survived by his children Dalton and Trenton Piening; the children’s mother, Angie (Chappell) Piening of Cottage Hills; a brother and sister-in-law, William Jr. and Angi Pieining of O’Fallon; his nieces and nephews, Will and Jack Piening, Morgan, Madison and Hailey Chappell, Johnathan Chappell, Troy Chappell, Christian and Hunter Beck and Becca Harkey and several aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

Services will be private at Rose Lawn Memory Gardens Chapel in Bethalto on Saturday, October 27, 2012 with Father Tom Liebler officiating.

Memorials may be made to the Family for the Dalton and Trenton Education Fund.

Elias, Kallal and Schaaf Funeral Home in Bethalto is in charge of arrangements.
