Jessie Steward

Jessie B Steward, 64, of Jerseyville passed away at 8:45 am on Thurs Jan 31, 2019 at Jersey Community Hospital.  She was born on Aug 25, 1954 in Alton, IL to Oscar & Jessie B (Farmer) Huber. 

She is survived by her long-time companion, William "Bill" Fitzgibbons of Jerseyville, daughters & sons in laws: Barbara & Mike Rothe of Brighton, Shannan Davis of CA, son & daughter in law: Frank III & Mindy Steward of Medora, 7 grandchildren, 1 great granddaughter, sisters: Mary McMahan of E Alton, Dorothy "Dee Dee" & Vernon Bricker of Brighton, Bonnie & Tom Hutchison of Alton, Anna Homer of E Alton, Janet Huber of Brighton and Fran & Troy Smith of Brighton, brothers: Oscar Huber Jr of Brighton, Danny & Fran Huber of St Louis, Wilbur Huber of Brighton, Terry Huber Sr of E Alton, Teddy Sr & Gina Huber of Brighton and William & Sandy Huber of Brighton. 

She worked at the Jerseyville Wal-Mart as a cashier. 

She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother: Anthony John Huber. 

Visitation will be 2-4 pm Sun Feb 3, 2019 at Targhetta F H in Brighton. 

Funeral services will be at 10 am on Mon Feb 4, 2019 at Targhetta FH in Brighton with Rev Joyce Anders officiating. 

Burial will be in Miles Station Cemetery. 

Memorials may be made to the family.
