Jimmie Blasa

Jimmie Dale Blasa, 79, of East Alton, IL, passed away at 4:11 a.m. Mon. Nov. 11, 2024 at his home while under hospice care.

He was born March 9, 1945 in Alton, IL to the late Freeland E. and Helen (Morris) Blasa.

Jimmie retired as a construction laborer for Local #388.

He is survived by a daughter: Tina Blasa of East Alton; two grandchildren: Ricky Lee Martin and Christopher Shawn Martin; a great-grandson: Kayden Michael Martin; a brother: Virgil Blasa; and dear friends: Barbara Perkinson and Bob and Carrie Strasen.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister-in-law, Ann Blasa.

Burial will be private at Kane Cemetery.
