JoAnn Hediger

JoAnn Hediger, age 93 of St. Louis, Missouri, passed away Monday, December 22, 2025, at the Glenwood in Greenville.

Funeral service 12:00 Noon Tuesday, December 30, 2025, at the Donnell–Wiegand Funeral Home in Greenville. Interment will follow in McKendree Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 11:00 until service time Tuesday. Memorials to Bond County Hospice.

JoAnn Hediger was born on Christmas, December 25, 1931, in St. Louis, Missouri. She was an only child, daughter of Ralph and Irma Wade Hediger. Growing up in St. Louis, she attended North City Beaumont School and Jennings where she graduated from High School.

JoAnn graduated from Nursing School and worked as a perinatal nurse for many years. She worked for Barnes-Jewish Hospital and then taught nursing at St. Louis Community College.

A life dedicated to helping others was JoAnn’s legacy. She loved her cousins and close friends. JoAnn loved to travel and took many adventures on bus trips including trips to New Zealand and Ireland. Bird watching was also a pastime, and was an avid book reader, and watching Jeopardy almost every afternoon.

Preceded in death by her parents and companion Flint M. Pritchett.
