John Leamon

John “Ed” Leamon, 75, passed away Saturday, March 10, 2012 at Barnes-Jewish Hospital in St. Louis, MO with longtime friends Dr. Mike and Cathy. Born December 10, 1936 in Paris, IL, he was the son of Ed and Ruth Leamon. Ed worked in the automobile industry most of his life. He is survived by his children, Patty, Jack and Deanna, his brother and sister-in-law, Charlie and Michele Leamon, niece, Jennifer Leamon and her children, Brandon Monroe and Lauren Stuart, and also several cousins. He was preceded in death by his parents. A memorial visitation will be held from 2:00-4:00 p.m. Saturday, March 17, 2012 at Gent Funeral Home in Alton.
