John Whitaker

John M. Whitaker, 75, died, January 30, 2017 at John Cochran VAMC in St. Louis.

Born in Galesburg on October 8, 1941, he was a switch man for Alton/Southern Railroad.

Survived by daughter, Patty (David) Linder.

Services 10:30 a.m., Monday at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery.

Marks Mortuary in Wood River is in charge of arrangements.
