Joshua Macios

Joshua J. Macios, 39, of Granite City, Illinois passed away at 8:25 p.m. on Thursday, February 25, 2021 at Gateway Regional Medical Center in Granite City.

He was born October 2, 1981 in Maryville. Josh was a graduate of Triad High School and enjoyed playing video games, collecting baseball cards and being with his family and friends. He worked in construction and drywalling.

He is survived by his mother, Robin (Barnes) Macios of Granite City; his father and stepmother, Marc and Christine Macios of Collinsville; sister, Rachel Macios of Kansas City, Missouri; grandmother, Joanne Tidwell of Granite City; uncles, Jeffrey (Sophia Lynn) Vaughn of Granite City and Brian Vaughn of Granite City; other extended family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Jerry Vaughn and Carl and Joann Macios.

In celebration of his life, a visitation will be at Grace Baptist Church, 2600 Edwards Street in Granite City on Thursday, March 4, 2021, from 11:00 a.m. until the time of funeral service at 1:00 p.m. with Daniel Wilson officiating. Memorials may be made to family.
