
Judith Gae “Judy” Joyce, 80, of Collinsville, Illinois passed away at 1:57 p.m. on Friday, October 17, 2025, at St. Louis University Hospital in St. Louis, Missouri.
Born March 21, 1945, in Granite City, she was a daughter of the late Lyle and Gae (Conway) Hannah.
She married Dennis R. Joyce on July 1, 1961, at the Third Baptist Church in Granite City and he survives.
Judy had worked as legal secretary at the Irv Slate Law Firm in Granite City. She was a member of the Metro East Community Church and enjoyed gardening and cooking. She cherished her family and lovingly adored her grandchildren.
In addition to her beloved husband of 64 years, she is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, Jeff and Tracy Joyce of Troy; a daughter and son-in-law, Carmen and Robert Garofalo of Collinsville; four grandchildren and spouses, Kyle and Amanda Joyce of Charlotte, South Carolina, Hannah and Patrick Nestor of St. Louis, Nicholas Garofalo of Collinsville and Samuel Garofalo of Collinsville; three brothers and a sister-in-law, Daniel and Peggy Hannah, Dave Hannah and Wade Hannah; nieces and nephews; other extended family and friends.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Mark Hannah.
In celebration of her life, visitation will be at Irwin Chapel, 591 Glen Crossing Road in Glen Carbon on Thursday, October 23, 2025, from 5:00 p.m. until time of a memorial service at 6:00 p.m. with Reverend Sharon Autenrieth officiating.
