Julia Hannel

Julia Hannel, 63, of Bethalto, IL, passed away unexpectedly Wed. Nov. 23, 2016. 

She was born June 12, 1953 in Alton, IL to Bobby E.  & Verna Lee (Crow) Creekpaum.

Julia had worked as a Crater Packer at Boeing and a member of the Machinist Union.  She enjoyed antiquing and was a loving mother, grandmother and devoted caregiver to her own mother for many years.

Survivors include a son: Jason (Robin) Hannel of Brussels, IL; 2 daughters: Christy (Joseph) Ricci and Denise (Todd) Hunt, all of Bethalto; 7 grandchildren: Taylor, Brenden & Nathan Ricci, William Hannel, Mike McCluggage and Emily and Jailyn Hunt; a brother and a sister.

Memorial visitation will be from 4:00 p.m. until time of a celebration of life service at 6:00 p.m. Tues. Nov. 29, 2016 at Paynic Home for Funerals.
