Kathleen Sever

Kathleen A. Sever, 50, passed away 9:45 p.m. Tuesday, October 20, 2015 at her residence.

Born in Jerseyville on December 20, 1964, she was the daughter of Gerald and Virginia (Sirotiak) Ashlock of Rosewood Heights.

She had been a sales associate with Macy's for seven years.

On October 18, 1991 in Elsah, she married Victor Sever.  He survives.

In addition to her parents and husband, she is survived by a son, Ryan Matthew Sever of East Alton; two daughters, Victoria Ellen Sever of East Alton and Jessica Rae Hettick of Rosewood Heights; two grandchildren, Adrianna and Isabella Paynic; and two brothers, Larry Ashlock of Alton and Kenny Ashlock of Murray, KY.

Visitation will be from 1-4 p.m. Saturday at Marks Mortuary in Wood River.

In accordance with her wishes, her body will be cremated following the visitation and interred in Wanda Cemetery at a later date.
