Kathleen Lowry

Kathleen “Kathy” Ann Lowry, nee Engel, 72, of Belleville, IL, born Sunday, January 18, 1953, in Belleville, IL, passed away Tuesday, March 11, 2025 at her residence in Belleville, IL.

Kathy worked as a main cook for Roy-El Catering. She was a member of St. Peter’s Cathedral of Belleville. Kathy had a passion for life’s simple joys. She found endless happiness in her garden, nurturing flowers with a loving touch. Her kitchen was always filled with the comforting aromas of home-cooked meals, happily prepared for family and friends.

She had a playful spirit and enjoyed the thrill of a good game at the casino. In her free time, she could often be found watching her favorite soap opera, The Young and the Restless or going to her favorite shopping malls. Above all, Kathy had a deep love for animals, especially her beloved cats, who were always by her side. Her warmth, laughter, and generous heart will be dearly missed.

Celebration of Life: Celebration of Life will take place at the Quail Club in Belleville, IL on Saturday April 19, 2025 from 12-4pm.
