Kathryn Worthen

Kathryn Elizabeth Worthen, 84, of Granite City, IL, died at 2:12PM on Wednesday, August 19th, 2020 at Gateway Regional Medical Center in Granite City. 

She was born July 9^th, 1936 in Pomona, Illinois. 

On July 12th, 1952, she married Loren Thomas Worthen in Murphysboro, IL. They were married until his passing in 2012. 

She is survived by her brother: David Phillips; 5 sons: Thomas, William, Robert, Michael, and Dennis; 10 grandchildren: Loren Sr., William, Paul, Emily, Jason, Leighann, Sarah, Shawn, Paige, and Ashley; and 13 great grandchildren: Loren Jr., Hannah, Will, Samantha, Sophia, Eric, Ruby, Brooke, Arlo, Lily, Kaitlyn, Lexi, and Houston. 

 Besides her parents, Kathryn is preceded in death by her husband, Loren; and her oldest son, Loren. 

She will be missed by all that loved her.
