Kathryn Logan

Kathryn Irene Logan, 79, passed away at 12:25 p.m. Friday, March 8, 2019 at Alton Memorial Hospital.

Born May 30, 1939 in Hardin, IL, she was a daughter of John Joseph and Ida Ruth (Beck) Klunk.

She married Claude Edward Logan in January of 1956.  He preceded her in death on Jan. 3, 2019.

Kathryn was a homemaker in addition to taking care of her own family.

Survivors include a son, David (Tina) Logan of Dorsey, IL; three daughters, Carolyn (Ranel) Coffman of Shipman; Cindy Evans of Granite City and Rachel (Kelly) Zuber of Lebanon, IL; seven grandchildren, Nathaniel (Samantha) Logan, April (Jonathan) Linley, Dustin (Jessica) Logan, Eric (Allison) Coffman, Tayler Evans, Laney Zuber and Kalen Zuber; eight great grandchildren; and a sister, Nettie Josephine Smith of Hillsboro, IL.

In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Claude Elliott Logan.

The family will hold a memorial service from 1:00 p.m. until time of services at 3:00 p.m. Sat. Mar. 16, 2019 at the Upper Alton Baptist Church, 2726 College Ave., Alton.
