Keith Lowell Akers, 91, died at 5:57 p.m.,  Thursday, February 15, 2018 at Jerseyville Estates in Jerseyville. Surviving are a son and daughter in-law, Leonard “Rusty” and Debra Akers; a daughter and son in-law, Wannetta and Roger Trask, all of Jerseyville; three grandchildren, Sara & Patrick Bruder of Granite City; and Will and Kyle McBride, both of Pocahontas; as well as three great-grandchildren, Christopher Bruder and Taylor and Owen McBride. Per his wishes, cremation rights will be accorded and no services will be held. Crawford Funeral Home in Jerseyville is in charge of arrangements.
