Kenneth Cunningham

Kenneth "Ken" Edwin Cunningham, 61, of Brighton, Illinois, passed away peacefully at his home on October 22, 2026.

He was born on August 31, 1965, in Jerseyville, Illinois, the son of the late Kenneth Cunningham and Alberta Kay (Cox) Griswold. On May 20, 2016, Ken married Lynn Hart in Brighton, and together they built a loving life and home.

Ken spent his career as an owner-operator truck driver for DKD Trucking, taking great pride in his work on the open road. He served our Country in the United States Air Force. Outside of work, Ken lived life to the fullest. He loved camping, riding his motorcycle, and showing off his prized ’57 Chevy Bel Air. Above all, he cherished time spent with his family and his beloved dog, Charlie.

He is survived by his loving wife, Lynn Cunningham of Brighton, IL; six children, Joshua Cunningham of Glen Carbon, IL, Emily Cunningham (Erika Rodriquez) of East Alton, IL, Dylan Durbin of Tulsa, OK, Brianna Durbin of Columbia, MO, Logan Durbin of Blacksburg, VA, and Garret Durbin of Brighton, IL; two sisters, Kennetta (Kevin) Mooney of Jackson, TN, and Kerri (Merrick) England of Terre Haute, IN.

Ken was preceded in death by his parents, Kenneth Cunningham and Alberta Kay Griswold.

Visitation will be held from 11 am until the time of funeral service at 1 pm on Tuesday, October 27, 2026, at Anderson Family Funeral Home in Brighton.

Burial will follow at Fosterburg Cemetery.
