Larry Gresham

Larry L. Gresham, age 83, of Kampsville, passed away, September 30, 2026. He was born December 20, 1942, the son of Alfred and Susan Hannel Gresham in Hamburg.

Surviving are 2 sons; Anthony (Linda) Gresham of Mozier and Greg (Jennifer) Gresham of Hamburg. He had 3 grandchildren, Cody Gresham, Christopher (Corina) Gresham, and Courtney (Matthew) Eilerman. 2 great grandchildren, Owen and Noah Eilerman. He also has 2 surviving sisters, Donna Stork of Lindenhurst and Mary (Art) Cunningham of Carrollton.

Larry was preceded in death by his parents and 3 sisters; Joyce Gresham, Sheryl Osterman, and Phyllis Billings.

He served his country in the army, 82nd Airborne Division. He was very proud to have served in the military. He was a member of the American Legion Post #1083 in Kampsville. After returning home from the army, he began his career as an iron worker and retired from Local #46 in Springfield, Il after many years of hard work. He was a member of the Fieldon Masonic Lodge #592 for 40 years.

He enjoyed spending his retirement visiting with his family and friends.

Cremation rites have been accorded and a graveside memorial service will be held at a later date.
