Larry Holt

Larry J Holt passed Tuesday, August, 25th 2026 at Jerseyville Manor at the age of 77. He was born December 24th 1948 to the late John James and Emma Katherine Holt in Alton, Illinois.

On August 27th, 1977 in Godfrey he married Cindy Holt, she proceeds him in death.

Surviving are two daughters, Pamela Smith (Steve Watt) of Godfrey and Lori Seay of AZ, five grandchildren Kayla Holmes, Megan Gonzalez (Uziel), Stephanie Shepard, Emma Smith (Rylan Homer), and James Alexander Sullivan (Maddy), great grandchildren, Chloe, Wesley, Carter, Adeline, Mila, Maveric, Emmelia, Able, JJ, and Jackson. Sister Janet (Art) Thomason, brother William (Muriel) Holt, Sister in laws, Christy Holt, Jeanette Deeder and Shelia (Mark) Miller.

He is proceeded in death by his parents, spouse, 1 brother Jim Holt, parents in laws, Evelyn and Billie Wooten, one grandson Mark Duane Holt, two brother in laws, Mark Deeder, Don Deeder, sister in law and husband Brenda and Dean Oehler, 1 great grandson Landon Ryan Holmes

Visitation will be from 4:00PM to 7:00 PM on Friday, September 4th, 2026 at Gent Funeral Home in Alton. Funeral Service will be held at 10:00 AM on Saturday, September 5th, 2026 at Gent Funeral Home. Burial will take place at Valhalla Memorial Garden in Godfrey.

Reverend Irene Gulovsen will officiate.
