Lawrence Cummins

Lawrence L. Cummins, age 70, of Fairview Heights, IL, born Tuesday, December 22, 1953, in Belleville, IL, passed away Wednesday, December 4, 2024 at his residence in Fairview Heights, IL.

Lawrence retired in 2018 after 40 years working at KMOV in St. Louis as a news photographer. He was a member of Zion Lutheran Church in Belleville IL.

He was preceded in death by his:

• Parents, James L. Cummins, and Virginia L. nee Rank, Cummins

Surviving are his:

• Wife, Kim nee, Lindemann, Cummins of Fairview Heights, IL
• Daughter, Lee Cummins of Fairview Heights, IL
• Son, Aaron (Libby) Cummins of O’Fallon, IL
• Two grandchildren:
  • Virginia A. Cummins
  • Rylee Dismuke
• Sister-in-law, Michelle (Gordon) Thornhill of Pacific, MO

Celebration of Life: Celebration of Life will be held from 10 a.m.-1 p.m., Saturday, January 4, 2025 at Kurrus Funeral Home in Belleville, IL. Private family interment.
