Leo Marmino Jr

Leo John Marmino, Jr., 53, passed away 11:10 p.m., Tuesday, November 29, 2016 at his residence.

Born in Alton on December 1, 1962, he was the son of Jeanette (Burcham) Marmino of Godfrey and the late Leo. J. "Louie" Marmino, Sr.

A U.S. Air Force veteran, he worked in the Sheet Metal Department for the Boeing Corporation for 30 years before retiring in 2015.

He married Mary Teschler on May 25, 1985 in Godfrey. She survives.

In addition to his mother and wife, surviving are a sister, Marla Marmino of Godfrey; an aunt, uncle; nieces and nephews.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 3 p.m., Friday, December 2 at Holy Angels Church in Wood River.  Father Donald Wolford will officiate.

Following the Mass, a visitation will follow until 7 p.m. at the church.

Marks Mortuary in Wood River is in charge of arrangements.
