Leslie Roderfeld

Leslie Roderfeld, a beloved resident of Alton, Illinois, passed away peacefully on Sunday, September 20th, 2026, just a week shy of his 73rd birthday. Born on September 27th, 1953, in Alton, Leslie lived a life full of love, dedication, and service.

Leslie was a devoted supervisor at Mead Packaging for many years, where he was admired for his leadership and commitment. His work ethic and integrity left a lasting impression on all who worked alongside him.

Leslie's memory will be cherished by his loving family, including his wife Roberta L. Roderfeld, daughters Amber (Jeremy) Hallows and Marissa (Curt) Bradley, his step-daughter April (Travis) Winters, and his step-son Adam (Nichole) Eddy. He is also survived by his brothers Larry (Mary) Roderfeld and Shelby (Julie Bregenzer) Roderfeld, and his sisters, Laura MulQueeny and Celia Full. Leslie was a proud grandfather to his adored grandchildren, Grayson, Harper, Zachary, Oliver, Alexander, Hunter and Sophie. He is also remembered by his sister-in-law, Mona Roderfeld.

Leslie was preceded in death by his parents, Albert G. and Audrey J. Roderfeld, his brother Ralph Roderfeld, and his step-mother Betty Roderfeld and two brothers-in-law, Jim MulQueeny and Rick Full. Their memories were always held dear to his heart.

A visitation will be held to honor Leslie's memory at Gent Funeral Home in Alton, Illinois, on Sunday, September 27th, 2026, from 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm. The following day, a Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Peter & Paul Catholic Church in Alton, Illinois, on Monday, September 28th, 2026, at 10:00 am by Father Jeff Holtman.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to St. Jude or Saints Peter & Paul Catholic Church, causes that were close to Leslie's heart. Arrangements are being handled with care by Gent Funeral Home & Cremation Services.

Leslie Roderfeld's legacy of love, kindness, and dedication will remain in the hearts of all who knew him. He will be deeply missed but fondly remembered by his family, friends, and community.
