Linda Cadmus

Linda Kay Cadmus, 79, of Benld, IL, died at St. Francis Hospital, Litchfield, IL on Friday, July 10, 2026 at 8:22 am. 

She was born February 2, 1947, in Jerseyville, IL to Carl Dublo & Virginia Joplin Dublo. She married Gary Lee Cadmus. He preceded her in death on August 16, 2011. 

She had worked as a meat wrapper in Springfield, CNA for Heritage Health and Country View as well as an operator for G & L Services. Linda was a member of the Red Hat Society. 

She is survived by her children, Barbara (Mark) Diveley of Wood River, IL, Keith Cadmus of Benld, IL, grandchildren, Timothy (Lacey) Diveley, Jeremy (Amanda) Diveley, Deanne (Travis) Scott, Adam Wagner, Courtney (Tyler) Davis, Gary Cadmus, Cory (Tessa) Knotts, 10 great grandchildren, siblings, Carlyn, Cilda, John, Elda. 

Linda was preceded in death by her parents, spouse, siblings, Gail, Carl, Rick and daughter in law, Suzanne Cadmus. 

Friends may call on Wednesday, July 15, 2026 at Kravanya Funeral Home in Gillespie from 10:00 am until 12:00 pm. Funeral services are Wednesday, July 15, 2026 at 12:00 pm at Kravanya Funeral Home in Gillespie. Burial will be at Benld Cemetery, Benld, IL.
