Linda Tomlinson

Linda Tomlinson, 79, of Plainview, passed away on Wednesday March 12, 2026, at home.

She was born May 27, 1946, in Macon, GA, to the late Paul and Gladys (Simmons) Kitchens

Linda married Lewis Edward “Ed” Tomlinson on September 1, 1962, in Macon Georgia. He preceded her in death on November 22, 2025.

She helped Ed on the farm and loved animals.

Linda is survived by two sons, Lewis Allen Tomlinson of Plainview and Paul (Samantha) Tomlinson of Collinsville; two grandchildren, Lewis Michael Tomlinson and Randi Tomlinson; four step grandchildren, Nicolas Fonseca, Lucas Coffin, Samson Coffin, and Cody Coffin.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; two brothers W.L. and Paul Kitchens.

Visitation will be held from 4 pm to 6 pm on Wednesday, March 18, 2026.

Private family burial we be at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery in St. Louis.
