Lissa Sido

Lissa Anne Jacobs Sido, 53, of Rosewood Heights, IL. passed away Wednesday, September 3, 2025. She was born April 6, 1972 in Alton. She graduated from Alton High School in 1990 and then attended Lewis and Clark where she received degrees in Applied Science and Legal Office Technology. She worked in the Administrative Offices for Beverly Farm Foundation in Godfrey.

Lissa was a very giving and social person. She was an avid Cardinals fan and spent every opening day with her brother.  She was also a fan of the Chiefs and the Illini.

Lissa loved spending time with her family and to simply put it, she was the best mom anyone could ask for.

She is survived by her son, Jacob Sido of Rosewood Heights; mother, Suzie (George J.) Eich of Godfrey, father, Brad (Cindy) Jacobs of Godfrey; brother, Ryan (Lisa) Jacobs of Godfrey; nieces, Kayli and Bree Jacobs; aunts and uncles, Jan and Mike Bucher of Godfrey, Matt (Cara) Jacobs of Alton, Tracy (Richard) Fleming of Lake Worth, FL, Sally Scalese of Godfrey; special companion, Eric Buchanan, and former husband and friend, Jim Sido.

A memorial visitation will be held from 4 p.m. until the time of the eulogy service at 7 p.m. on Thursday, September 11, 2025 at Paynic Home for Funerals in Rosewood Heights. Online guestbook available at www.paynicfh.com. Memorials can be made to Beverly Farm Foundation.
