Louise Corlew

Louise R. Corlew, age 76, of Edwardsville, Illinois died Saturday, June 17, 2017, at Barnes Jewish Hospital in St. Louis. Louise was a graduate of Downers Grove High School in Downers Grove, Illinois. She graduated with a Bachelor’s in Nursing from SIUE. She was employed at St. Franicis Hospital in Litchfield for 35 years where she was a staff nurse and supervisor. Louise was born in Chicago, Illinois on August 22, 1940, to the late Paul & Louise (Matthews) Gradolph. She married Philip M. Corlew on November12, 1960, at Champaign, Illinois. Besides her husband Philip she is survived by 2 daughters, Michelle Corlew of Naperville, Illinois and Elise S. Reis of Florissant, Colorado. Louise was a member of the Edwardsville Junior Service and the Beta Sigma Phi Sorority. Visitation will be from 11:00 a.m. until service time at 2:00 p.m. Friday, June 23, 2017. at Weber & Rodney Funeral Home with Rev. Dr. John Hembruch officiating.
