Lucille Wickett

Lucille “Lucy” Ann Wickett, nee Duska, 71, of Belleville, IL, born Thursday, February 18, 1954, in Erie, PA, passed away Sunday, August 17, 2025 at Memorial Hospital West in Belleville, IL.

Lucille “Lucy” worked as a waitress for Red Lobster. She loved crafting.

She was preceded in death by her:

• Husband of 39 years: James J, Wickett whom passed on July 27, 2025
• Parents: Joseph and Harriett, nee Slupski, Duska
• Brothers

  • Richie Duska
• Nephew: Joey Duska

Surviving are her:

• Daughter: Amy (Chris) Carlino of Mount Vernon, IL
• Grandchildren

Memorials: Memorials may be made to the BAHS where they got every dog from since moving here and knowing furry animals are just as much in need.

Visitation: Visitation for Lucy and Jim will be held from 2:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m., Thursday, August 28, 2025 at Kurrus Funeral Home in Belleville, Illinois.

Services: Memorial Service for Lucy and Jim will be held at 4:00 p.m., Thursday, August 28, 2025 at Kurrus Funeral Home, with Father Clyde Grogan officiating.
