Lucy Taylor

Lucy “Marie” Taylor 85, of Bethalto passed away Thursday, March 1, 2018 at Barnes Jewish Hospital in St. Louis, MO.  She was born December 22, 1932 in Selmer, TN to Lou Allan and Lucy D. (Darby) Peak.  She married Rev. William T. Taylor May 21, 1947; he preceded her in death December 21, 2013.

She is survived by two sons, Hershel A. Taylor of Bethalto and Wayne (Beverly) Taylor of Wingo, KY; daughter, Sharon (Randy) Bradley of Hillsboro, MO; eight grandchildren; twenty three great grandchildren and a sister Edna Pearl Hamilton of Goshen, IN.

Also preceding her in death were six brothers, Earl, Howard Gene, Robert, Bobby and Junior “Giant” Peak; two sisters, Dorothy Rogers and Jesse Holland and two daughters in law Brenda Taylor and Ruth Taylor.

Visitation will be from noon until the time of services at 1 p.m. Monday, March 5, 2018 at Paynic Home for Funerals in Rosewood Heights.

Graveside services will be held at 1 p.m. Tuesday, March 6, 2018 Tyronza Cemetery in Tyronza, Arkansas.
