Lula Jones

Lula Belle Jones, nee Pendegraft, 86, of Belleville, IL, went home to be with her Lord on December 8, 2025, surrounded by her loving family, in her home after a brief battle with cancer.

Lula was born on January 30, 1939, to Orville and Leona Pendegraft. She was a devoted mother, grandmother, and friend known for her kindness, generosity, love of her Lord and Savior and her family, including her church family at Towerview.

The family would like to thank the staff at Barnes Jewish Hospital and BJC Hospice for their compassionate care during Lula’s illness. The family would also like to thank the Men’s Ministry at Towerview Baptist Church for supplying materials and building a wheelchair ramp.

Visitation: Visitation from 2:00 pm – 3:00 pm, Saturday, December 13, 2025, at Towerview Baptist Church, 2401 Lebanon Ave. Belleville, IL 62221.

Services: A funeral service to celebrate Lula’s life will be held at 3:00 p.m.on Saturday, December 13, 2025, at Towerview Baptist Church. A dinner for family and friends will be served immediately after the service.
